This latest Girl Talk remix of Grizzly Bear's "Knife" via "the non-mp3 blog that is actually becoming a really amazing mp3 blog" got me back into listening to their utterly, strange and serene Yellow House LP. Sure, comparisons can be made to fellow semi-Brooklynites like Animal Collective and The Liars when at their melodic best, but, jesus, some of these tracks are sublime in a way that can just about crack your heart in two. Grizzly Bear are about to embark on an enormous US tour, coast to coast with a touch of Canada in the mix - support.
